Ten years ago we opened our first Florida Total Wine & More location in Tampa. Today, there are 25 Total Wine & More locations in Florida, and we are still growing. In honor of our 10th anniversary, we wanted to take a moment and thank all of our loyal Florida customers for welcoming us into your community.

It has been a pleasure serving the Florida communities that we are a part of. In honor of our 10th anniversary, we’re throwing a state-wide celebration September 3rd through 7th. You’ve let us be a part of your celebrations for 10 years, now come and be a part of ours!

Total Wine & More is thrilled to be open our third store in Connecticut!

The new store is located at 230 Cherry Street in Milford — join us for our Grand Opening festivities starting on Thursday, August 27 at 4:00 P.M. (Click here to see more about our store and all of the Grand Opening activities).

We’re excited to finally set up shop in Milford and to be able to give our Connecticut customers a third location to shop at in addition to our Norwalk and Manchester locations. We can’t wait to get involved and start giving back to the wonderful Milford community. We’ve got a lot to celebrate, and we plan on giving back just as much.

5 Whiskey Sours You’ve Never Heard Of

Happy National Whiskey Sour Day! Here are five liquor-licious versions of the old favorite to help you celebrate. If variations aren’t your thing, you can always go old school and mix up one of our favorite versions – the original whiskey sour.

  1. The Baltimore Bang (via Saveur)

If you prefer bourbon, this is your drink! Apricot brandy helps it pack that special “bang!”, but you can also go the route Saveur did and use cognac.

2. The New York Sour (via Liquor.com)

Here’s to you, red wine lovers! Don’t wrinkle your nose – the wine mixes surprisingly well with the whiskey. Bonus points if your wine floats beautifully on top!

3. The Rattlesnake (via Liquor.com)

“It will either cure Rattlesnake bite, or kill Rattlesnakes, or make you see them.” Bring it on.

4. Whiskey Sour with Marmalade (via ThereWillBeBourbon.net)

Very similar to a Baltimore Bang – but with a marmalade twist!

5. The Ward Eight (via Imbibe Magazine)

We absolutely love the martini glass! This recipe is great if you don’t have a lot of extra ingredients on hand (or if you’re out of sour mix).

The new store will be located at 5720 Centennial Center Blvd in Centennial Hills — join us for our Grand Opening festivities starting Thursday August 20th at 4:00 P.M. (Click here to see more about our store and all of the Grand Opening activities).

This is our 4th store in Nevada, and our 118th store in the nation. We’re looking forward to finally settling in Centennial Hills, and even more excited to be members of this lively and growing neighborhood.

Total Wine & More will be donating a portion of our Grand Opening weekend sales to benefit Opportunity Village, a not-for-profit organization serving children and adults in the southern Nevada community with intellectual disabilities to enhance their lives and the lives of the families who love them. Through vocational training, community employment, day services, advocacy, arts and social recreation, citizens with severe disabilities are able to find new friends, realize future career paths, seek independence and community integration and unleash creative passions.
